flyingtrade couples a retained fruit fly connectome to a constrained trading system. Neural proposals, account state and confirmed execution are separate. The observatory displays recorded model activity; animation is not execution evidence.
01 / Retained neural dynamics
The Stonkfly implementation retains 166,700 neurons and 25,582,938 directed connections from MaleCNS v1.0. Each observation advances 500 milliseconds of simulated neural time. Locked source, dataset fingerprints and checkpoints identify a run.
Completed one-minute candles become a 320 × 180 visual stimulus. Three-candle movement is normalized by recent volatility and encoded as left/right luminance. This engineered sensory adapter introduces a directional prior; biological flies do not intrinsically understand financial markets.

02 / Sampling and playback
The browser displays up to 128 original neurons and 256 existing edges. Every 500 ms observation contains 50 recorded 10 ms bins of spike counts, membrane voltage and selected connection weights. Node positions show functional groups, not anatomical coordinates. Moving particles illustrate activity within a bin, not the precise timing of individual synaptic transmission.
All 166,700 neurons remain in the model. Whole-network statistics and sampled-neuron statistics cover different populations. The pixel fly and workstation are decorative. Playback may be paused, scrubbed or replayed; unavailable and stale data are explicitly labelled.
03 / Learning and verification
Selected existing KC-to-MBON connections use the upstream experimental plasticity mechanism. Contract-observer mode derives reinforcement from verified settled accounting changes. Standalone observation supplies no financial feedback and cannot trade.
Committed records bind inputs, outputs and before/after state fingerprints. Checkpoints support same-environment restoration and replay. Externally retained roots can reveal later alteration. These mechanisms do not establish profitable learning, biological equivalence or a cryptographic proof of neural computation.
04 / Position sizing and additions
The production policy uses a 10× native BTC leverage setting and a 50% sizing reserve, targeting approximately five times dedicated-account equity. It has no fixed dollar order ceiling.
Target notional = equity × 10 × (1 − 0.50)
Scale-in capacity = max(0, target − existing marked notional)
A fresh same-direction signal can add only the remaining capacity, subject to cooldown, price tolerance, venue lot size and minimum order requirements. New tax principal may first top up collateral while a known position is open. Opposite-direction orders are reduce-only and cannot cross zero in one order.
The reserve remains inside cross margin. It is not segregated insurance. Native leverage and actual gross exposure are distinct; this policy does not guarantee a liquidation price.
05 / Position-level stop
The trigger is −40% ROI on the held position, using weighted entry notional divided by the configured 10× leverage as its margin reference. Ignoring fees and funding, a 4% adverse move from weighted entry reaches that reference threshold. The keeper must observe the condition and submit a reducing order; gaps, liquidity and execution delays can produce losses beyond the trigger.
06 / Principal, profit and authority
Creator taxes accrue in the configured Flap BNB vault and are claimed by the dev wallet. Only the verified claim amount follows the fixed BSC-to-Hyper Relay route into trading principal. Unrelated wallet balances are not automatically project capital.
Principal, realized profit, fees and funds in transit have separate accounting. Only eligible realized profit enters the buyback route. Principal recovery uses a fixed beneficiary and requires a flat, settled account, with no additional project timelock. Token holders do not acquire a redemption right over the trading account.
07 / Trust boundaries
The model and market collection run offchain. Commitments, custody, trade constraints, settlement permissions and accounting checks are onchain. The model operator, settlement attestor, data providers and external protocols remain explicit dependencies. Open source and reproducibility are not guarantees of returns.
